How to think self-funding home based businesses

At some point you will want to invest a percentage of your profits back into the business, but there is no need to do so until the business is making money at which time you take some money out for yourself and put the rest back towards building the business.

Self-funding businesses and your mindset

Even though most of these businesses are low-cost businesses, we believe it's better to have the mindset that the businesses are "self-funding".

The problem is that when you think of home based businesses as "low-cost" or "cheap" it tends to implant the idea in your head that you will not make a lot of money with the business.

However, when you think of a home based business as self-funding you are immediately thinking about the fact that you will be growing the business over time.
