If you’ve been unlucky enough to have come across the Karen James Home Income Kit, you probably already are regretting what you’ve done. Here are some things the rest of you need to know:

The Home-Income-Kit.com site allegedly by Karen James appears to be run by the same people who ran the notorious Paid To Place scam. You cans see that in the image below:

So if you want to know what’s going to happen AFTER you buy the Karen James Home Income Kit, I highly suggest you check out all of the comments and complaints from the people about Paid To Place here.

Just who is Karen James?

Final (And Most Important) Warning

Any time you see a bonus which reads something like “Your free one-on-one consultation with a success advisor (Value: $150)…” RUN AWAY. RUN AWAY FAST.

That so-called bonus is almost always a gimmick to get you to talk to a high-pressure, hard-sell sales person who’s only goal is to extract as much money as possible out of your wallet, credit card, and bank account. It’s all scripted – and it’s all scripted to take as much money as possible out of your pocket!

PR ZERO AAGDesigner Want’s To Optimize My Site?

I got the following hilarious email (through my contact form) from “John Advertiser” at AAGdesigner recently (keep in mind that AAGDesigner is  PR ZERO site – and WorkAtHomeTruth is a PR4 authority sit with natural links from government & non-profit sites):

“We Will Optimize Your Site To Increase It’s Rankings And Get Your
Website On The 1st Page Of Google, Yahoo And MSN

We Strongly Believe That We Have An Excellent Opportunity To Increase
The Number Of Visitors To Your Website Through Our Seo Services.

“We introduce ourselves as a purely organic SEO Firm and can get your
Website on the 1st page of Google, Yahoo and MSN (Bing.com).
By showing your website on the first page of Google, Yahoo and MSN
(Bing.com), you can increase your sales at least 4 times whatever you
are presently getting per month. Please be informed that we do not use
link farms or black hat methods.

It will be our pleasure to work on your website to your entire
satisfaction for your 5 keywords initially for a period of one month
for which we shall charge an amount of $50 for the first month and
subsequently in case you are quite satisfied with our services for
getting more results you can continue our services with different SEO
Plans and accordingly charges will be intimated to you as per your
requirement”

This is the craziest, most non-sensical SEO solicitation I’ve ever received. Obviously, “John Advertiser” either knows nothing about SEO – or simply didn’t even bother to research the site to which he/she was sending this email.

But there’s quite a bit of nonsense in the email anyhow. Let’s take a look:

Claim 1:

“We Will Optimize Your Site To Increase It’s Rankings And Get Your
Website On The 1st Page Of Google, Yahoo And MSN”

Why it’s nonsense:

While you can optimize a website’s architecture, you do NOT get a “Website” on the 1st page of Google, Yahoo, and MSN. You get web PAGES

STRIKE 1!

Claim 2:

“We Strongly Believe That We Have An Excellent Opportunity To Increase
The Number Of Visitors To Your Website Through Our Seo Services.”

I don’t care how many “visitors” I get. I care what TYPE of visitors I get. Any intelligent SEO company would know this. Not all “visitors” are created equal. If your selling a product, you want visitors that convert. If your site is monetized by advertising, you want visitors that will drive up your ad revenue

STRIKE 2!

Claim 3:

“By showing your website on the first page of Google, Yahoo and MSN
(Bing.com), you can increase your sales at least 4 times whatever you
are presently getting per month.”

This one is just a blatant lie. Once again, you don’t “show a website” on the first page of Google. And there’s no way they can possibly know that sales will increase “at least 4 times”.

STRIKE 3!

And it’s a pop fly OUT of my consciousness. AAGDesigner is GONE!!!!

My At Home Profit System Review Of Red Flags

This My At Home Profit System review red flags covers important aspects of the sales page you may want to think about before buying this product my own advice is to avoid it as it seems very similar to a number of other sites that have generated numerous complaints.

Here are the red flags that I see:

Red Flag #1) Michelle Matthews Claims To Be The #1 Home Job Consultant In America

That’s nice. But there are thousands of questionable business opportunity sites claiming that very same thing – including quite a few shut down by the FTC.

In other words, this exact claims has been associated with a significant number of questionable business opportunities.

Red Flag #2) Meaningless use of News logos and other logos.

My At Home Profit System says, “As Seen On”  the following:

  • MSNBC
  • Fox News
  • abc
  • USAToday
  • CNN

Of course this is completely meaningless since “as seen on” can simply mean the company advertised on those websites is something anyone can do.

Red Flag #3) Non-Clickable Security Seals

MyAtHomeProfitSystem.com uses the following non-clickable security seals on their site:

  • McAfee Secure
  • Verisign
  • Hacker safe
  • GeoTrust

NonClickable security seals are meaningless since the entire reason to have them is so that a visitor can click through to an independent third-party site in order to confirm that the site hosting the order page for websites such as MyAtHomeProfitSystem is secure.

Red Flag #4) The “Free” Consultation

Be VERY careful when you see something like this on the My At Home Profit System sales page:

“You’ll get a free one-on-one phone consultation with a Search Engine Agent Advisor to discuss your individual goals and map out and ensure your quick path to financial success.”

Here’s the problem. More often than not, these “free” consultations are used to try to hard-sell you expensive products and services that either you don’t need or are potentially utterly useless.

Red Flag #5) Use Of Stock Photos For Testimonials

The disclaimer way at the bottom of the  sales page states, “† For the purpose of privacy, the pictures shown in testimonials have been adapted and results may vary.”

Here’s a bit of history behind those types of disclaimers and why they started popping up. What happened is that stock photos became extremely easy to find with new reverse image search technology. Therefore, to get around this problem, websites started using this type of disclaimer.

Here’s why it’s important to know that – now theonly way that law enforcement can determine if the testimonials are actually real or fake is to file a lawsuit against the company using the stock photos.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that all testimonials a website that makes use of stock photos are fake. But this type of disclaimer should definitely be considered a GIGANTIC RED FLAG.

Red Flag #6) Use Of The Same Stories For Different “People”

There’s a place on My At Home Profit System that states:

“After 8 years as a super-successful and outrageously highly paid person, Michelle Mathews is at the red hot center of the work at home industry, both online and offline.”

That same text is used over and over and over across many different sales pages – but each using a different male or female name in the story. Here are some examples I’ve seen:

  • After 8 years as a super-successful and outrageously highly paid person, Mark Starr is at the red hot center of the work at home industr, both online and offline.”
  • “After 8 years as a super-successful and outrageously highly paid person, Michelle Miller is at the red hot center of the work at home industry, both online and offline.”
  • “After 8 years as a super-successful and outrageously highly paid person, Robert Brannon is at the red hot center of the work at home industry, both online and offline.”
  • After 8 years as a super-successful and outrageously highly paid person, Patricia Goddard is at the red hot center of the work at home industry, both online and offline.”

Oh, and by the way, all of those “people” are supposed to be the “#1 Home Job Consultant In America”

If there’s enough interest I’ll tear the sales letter apart even more and reveal a ton of other red flags.
