Final (And Most Important) Warning

Any time you see a bonus which reads something like “Your free one-on-one consultation with a success advisor (Value: $150)…” RUN AWAY. RUN AWAY FAST.

That so-called bonus is almost always a gimmick to get you to talk to a high-pressure, hard-sell sales person who’s only goal is to extract as much money as possible out of your wallet, credit card, and bank account. It’s all scripted – and it’s all scripted to take as much money as possible out of your pocket!

  1. Home Income Kit (Karen James) is a SCAM. I was stupid enough to sign up for it. Once I researched and found all of this information, I realized what I had done! I immediately called my credit card company and disputed the charge. After some phone calls and being hung up on, I let my credit card company take care of it. Whoever was in charge of this so called company realized they were not going to win and refunded my money. Don’t sign up for this!! If it sounds too good to be true, it is! Learned my lesson.

    • Laura Jean (@ladyyuna27) says:

My mom and I signed up for it as well, and they told us we could get our money back in a year if we didnt make any money. We signed up for this in October. We called to get our money returned and the guy tells my mom that she had 60 days to get her money back and it was in the terms. It was NO WHERE in the terms. I emailed them and told them they were scam artists and that I was reporting them! I paid through paypal so I may see if Paypal can try and get my money back

  2. Cynthia Eldred says:

  3. I too fell for the scam. After i sent my payment through, I got an uneasy feeling. I immediately called the number and no one has returned my call. I called a couple of times and still no response. I contacted my bank to dispute the charge.

  4. I signed up for this kit as well not knowing what i was getting myself into. I have not recieved anythin gin my email or in the mail and its been about a week. Just the other day i got a call from a success advisor claiming to want to help me get started and whatnot. what is that all about? i didnt call them, they called me!! advise please.

  5. Luckily not fooled says:

was looking at this too-good-to-be-true offer and noticed the similarities of these two comments.

Thanks for the info, just started this 5 weeks ago. I’ve got 2 checks for a total of $750, pretty cooll.!

  6. I don’t understand how websites like yahoo aren’t held responsible for allowing these scammers to advertise on their website.

  7. Thank you for pointing out these leach scammers! I have tried several sites (two of which were at the suggestion of a close friend), but had instead very regreatably lost thousands in the process.
    these two are (PROFITCLICKING.COM now calles ADCLICKEXPRESS.COM) & BANNERSBROKER.COM)
A single father of three who was just trying extra income online.
This experiance has left me very demoralized, and almost broke! I wish there was some way to take these people to court, shut them down, and give back the money to all those poeple they STOLE from.
They are nothing but online thieves, who must be prosecuted!

  8. Fortunately, I happened to read the review on this page and I change my mind.
    Thanks for all the info.

  9. Karen James is a domestic terrorist!

  10. Unfortunately, I came across this website after I signed up. Calling my bank now to dispute the charges. Thank you all.

  11. I have talked with this company, and I am now in a dispute with them. I asked for a refund, and the guy I’ve been talking with is rude and abusive. He told me that I won’t get a refund because I didn’t try – I did, and don’t want to do it anymore. He caused me to lose my temper. I called my credit card company, and am in the middle of trying to get a refund. To the person above who said that they called their credit card company, what is the result?

    • Amanda, if it doesn’t get resolved in your favor, you might also want to submit a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau here. In the dropdown there is a choice for “billing dispute”.

      • Amanda A. Brooks says:

The credit card company was FANTASTIC, and I got my money back. I did get called by the SCAM company many times, and when I did answer, I got screamed at and threatened for daring to refund my money with the credit card company. Since, I have received calls, but haven’t answered.

    • I too, foolishly signed up for this and the guy I have been talking to is RUDE, ARROGANT and HIGHLY ABUSIVE. He told me the that I wont get my money back because I didnt try it. I am reporting them to the BBB and disputing the charge on my credit card.

      So, please be aware!!

  12. I have been trying to make money at home so I don’t loose my house. I keep seeing things that don’t say they guarantee success, but then I read this. I am glad I saw this before I signed up.

  13. I just purchased this product I am scared is it real or fake?

  14. Thanks for all the posts . I almost think about signing up

  15. It is a total scam, I signed up because they said if for any reason I changed my mind there would be no hassles or questions asked and that I would get a refund. I listened to one of the webinars and called customer service the next day to cancel. The guy was so rude, called me “a loser” and said that I was a quitter and to try harder to make the money. I got nowhere with him and decided to call my bank to dispute the charge. Hopefully it goes my way………don’t fall for it! IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!

  16. I signed up for this last week and immediately became to regret my decision. I am unemployed and thought Wow! CNN said it’s a good idea maybe I’ll try it. The second payment in my phone began to ring every hour unknown callers. I felt this was a scam and emailed right away that I would like a refund, no replies. I called their support line and again no answer. I know it’s only 97.00 but I feel so stupid I never fall for these ads. But when your unemployed and desperate I guess you’ll try anything.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS HORRIBLE PERSON. I REPORTE THE COMPANY TO THE BBB.

  17. OMG ! I too am sooo thankful I saw this website and declined to fall for this NONSENSE SCAM !
Like times aren’t hard eough as it is. We need to somehow eradicate these weasels !!!!

  18. I feel bad for people that lost their money to Karen f—-ing James program ( btw what an unimaginative generic name ) I was scammed before but in a different field, the only good that came out of is that now I trust NO ONE, I will spend more time researching and googling about that person or company. Thanks to the freedom of speech, on the flip side people can say whatever they want to people that do not have a criminal mindset, therefor an easier target. Now a days especially, I even question what I see, anyone can use a log of a reputable company as ” reference ” how are you going to verify that really??
I always do my research and will call the number before not after I hand over money and see how “customer service” even exists, check all the internet sites about that person/company under BBB but that’s not good enough, also check riproff report, put in the word “complaint” next to the person in question in same sentence, this has worked well for me and has saved me money that I might have otherwise been another statistic. Let’s all be vigilante and continue to put up posting wherever and whenever another bad apple tries to take our money, don’t let them go unreported, even if you just post an opinion, you could be helping someone. That my friend, is priceless : ) and the only guarantee is that they WILL take your money and no questions asked! be careful out there, good luck.

  19. I’ve always been skeptical of these make money online claims, and have never paid any attention to them, until now, and I was burned – if it sounds too good to be true, then it is too good to be true. Never again!

  20. What ever you see online that is catchy. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING their saying or trying to give out. It just fake and their only looking for money, that all.

  21. You all are mad at the wrong people, you should be yelling at CNN for advertising this scam to begin with and also your government for not doing a thing about it and allowing you all to lose your money and don’t forget the internet providers for allowing it to happen. To top it off, quit whining and take responsibilities for yourselves and start being smart and investigating things before you do things. Bad decisions are really no one’s fault but your own.

  22. It’s a shame the times we live in that people are taking money from others these people need to be fine heavely and spend time in if they do not refund innocent people there money. Check with the BETTER BUSINESS BUERAU BEFORE YOU GET INVOLVE find out there credit rating A-F grade and If thhis company has had any complaints in the last three months. We are asecret organize company who goes after scums like this one so be aware we are coming for you.!!!!!!!!! SO REFUND EVERYONE MONEY OR SUFFER THE CONSQUENCES.

    • I’d definitely check the BBB for complaints. They’re rating system is highly questionable, though, as several news stories have pointed out over the past few years – lots of companies getting Fs because they won’t pay for membership and highly questionable companies getting As because they paid.

      • Jacqueline says:

Paul, I spoke with a representative from the Online Profit Stream this afternoon and he provided the same information concerning their F Rating . However, I checked the Online Business Bureau and both Online Profit Stream, as well as, their coaching firm Advanced Mentor Group are listed with a “Warning”.

  23. Paul, first of all I would like to say thanks a million for all the information you have given to all of us looking for work online from home. My question is what is your opinion about Ameriplan USA business plan?

  24. I bought this and never heard anything back. I was looking on past transaction on my google wallet back in March. To tell you the truth, i forgot about it. Do you think there is a chance i could still get my money back?
