Based on information from research I’ve done so far I recommend you avoid the following websites for the following reasons:
1. XMBrands company website was found on the same IP as the following websites and may be running sites under a new name now.
On 6/3/2010 the BBB issued this warning about XMBrands:
“June 3, 2010, Milwaukee, Wis. – A recent wave of local complaints to the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau (BBB) is part of a national trend against online health store XM Brands, Inc. 623 complaints have been filed against the F-rated company in the past 36 months by consumers nationwide. To date, 562 remain unanswered.”
2. The governing law for many of the websites is in the country of Cyprus
The intent behind this that if a person has a dispute with the company they have to go to Cyprus to settle it. There are ways aroundit in certain circumstances, but it should be considered a red-flag
3. Security and trust seals on many of the sites aren’t clickable
When security seals and trust seals are used on a website they are supposed to be clickable so that you can verify their legitimacy through a 3rd-party database.
Often the TRUSTe, Verisign, and McAfee Secure seals are not clickable on the order pages of the sites listed on this page.

Hi Paul? I would like to commend you for the good job of exposing this csam programs waiting to reap us off.
I really appreciate, I would like to know if http://www.homewealthsystem.com
is legitimate or a scam? kindly help,
Thanks.
Thanks for being so generous and kind enough to share this kind of valuable information with the rest of the world, especially with the newcomers of internet marketing. This kind of information could not only save them a bunch of cash but will also help them not to get discouraged and to realize that there are honest as well as dishonest opportunities online.
Keep up the good work Paul !!
Thanks Kevin and Tammy,
Kevin, I believe you’re talking about MyHomeWealthSystem – which has a sales page rifled with more red flags than almost any other I’ve seen.
I wrote about it here:
MyHomeWealthSystem Sales Page review
What they’ve added recently are the video testimonials. Don’t be fooled. There is a HUGE marketplace where people BUY video testimonials and provide the actors with scripts.
Just another FYI about those supposidly true testemonials
If you watch enough of them you will see the same person on different sites, often with a different name. I guess they think we are all really stupid. I saw Frank on one site giving a testimonial, and then surprise surprise I saw Jim on another site giving a testemonial. SAME PERSON !
or maybe he has a twin.
Sandy
Thansk Sandy,
Yep. That happens a lot.
For a little over a month, I’ve gotten emails about a ” new, hot , pre-
launch ” site that has a lot of hype and ” promises ” of making a lot
of money about a new product that is being introduced on Oprah, Good
Morning America, and other TV programs and also being sold in stores
like Walgreen’s, CVS Pharnacy, etc and all the people who signed up to
be part of this hige MLM type program have to buy their supply to
participate. What a ruse! My email here doesn’t capture the email hype
that has been going on. Very slick and very well thought out.
Do you know of it and is so, any comment/
Thanks.
Hi Bill,
Interesting. No, I don’t know it off the top of my head by the way you’re describing it.
Can you forward it to my email address? I’d like to look into it.
The way you’re describing it certainly makes it sound incredibly suspicious, because using “Oprah’s” name is a favorite of scammers.
I WAS WONDERING IF YOU KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THE AMERIPUB STUFFING ENVELOPES
Michelle,
I put out a warning about them a while back, but I can’t locate it right now.
I know they have had cease & desists filed against them going all the way
back to 2000.
Here’s one of the first ones back from 2000:

Thanks Paul for all your efforts in alerting us about potential scams. I’ve been curious about ‘blogging to the bank’ and the hype that followed it. Now Rob just launched ‘blogging espionage’. I guess its the same old stuff with some tweaking. What’s your opinion? Is it worth its onion?
Well, in a nutshell, I tend to avoid Rob BenWell products after his Blogging To The Bank product which I thought was pretty lame.
There’s a good discussion about Blogging Espionage at the Warrior Forum here.
Blogging Espionage reviews and feedback
I don’t know it, but I do find this part of the sales page hilarious:
“NO learning is required!”
Sorry I can’t be of more help. If you do find more info about it let the people here know.
Hi Paul,
I wanted to know if the following company is legitimate to work for. Data Entry Task (dataentrytask.com).
The address of the company is:
3901 Greenleaf Street
Raleigh, NC 27606
Thanks for your help.
Looks like a typical fake data entry set up where they are trying to sell you an overpriced business opportunity.
The only contact info they have on the site is for a 3rd party biling provider which isn’t a good sign.
