ClixSense Review and Overview

June 26, 2015 By Paul (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth) Leave a Comment

Is ClixSense a Scam or a Legitimate Way to Earn Extra Money Online?

Clixsense started as a PTC or Paid to Click site that generally has a good reputation as far as paying out their members.  Over the years the site has added many more ways to earn other than just viewing ads. Today it’s a hybrid of it’s original version and a rewards program similar to FusionCash, SendEarnings, and InboxDollars.

ClixSense has several ways for members to earn cash by completing simple work. Some of those ways include:

  • Doing micro tasks
  • Taking  paid surveys
  • Completing offers
  • Playing ClixGrid
  • Visiting Websites
  • Shopping Online

Most of those means of earning are self-explanatory. However, there are a few that need a little bit more explanation.

Playing ClixGrid

ClixGrid is a game that ties into viewing advertisers’ websites. You are presented with a picture that is set on a grid. All you have to do is click anywhere within the picture and you could win $10 which is sent directly to your account balance. In order to keep people from just clicking and not viewing the advertiser’s website, you will need to view the sponsored website for up to 10 seconds. After you have viewed the site for that period of time, you will find out if you have won the $10.

ClixGrid

Micro Tasks

Micro Tasks are small jobs or tasks that you get paid to complete. Since the jobs are small, typically the payouts are small as well. Typically, you need to be very selective if you choose to do microtasks as some can take much too long to complete as compared to what you’ll be paid. However, I understand that whether or not the money paid for a task is worthwhile to you may depend on which country you currently reside in.

Complaints

ClixSense is not going to make you rich, although it does pay better than many similar programs. And best of all it’s international. If you think you’re going to get into the program and try to make money fast by cheating or scamming the system, look elsewhere – it won’t work. But if you are an honest person who is just looking to earn a little extra income, ClixSense can be a good choice for you.

Cautions

As with any rewards program that offers the ability to earn via taking trial offers, you need to be careful with that method of earning. Make sure that the companies you take trials for are legitimate and won’t make it difficult to cancel your trial plan. Of course, you also need to remember to cancel any trial plan you take.

Not every site you view on ClixSense is trustworthy. ClixSense doesn’t seem to screen the advertiser’s websites much – in fact, it would be pretty difficult for them to do so considering how big they are. Just use your common sense. If something seems to good to be true, avoid it. Or if you aren’t sure you can always ask me about the site in the comments section here and I’ll do my best to answer you.

Bottom Line: I recommend ClixSense as long as you follow my guidelines in this post.

Free Affiliate Marketing Training Programs

June 25, 2015 By Paul (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth) Leave a Comment

Here Are Free Affiliate Marketing Courses You Can Start With

I should point out that most of these free affiliate marketing courses provide a great deal of information. However, typically they will have a paid option that provides additional training and additional support.

Michael Brown’s Unleashing Your Success

I’ve been recommending Michael Brown’s training for years. Why? Because I know for a fact that he’s built over 50 niche affiliate websites of his own and that he continues to build more every month. In other word he actually DOES what he teaches.

He also really cares about the success of his students. He makes sure that all of his training is easy to follow and easy to implement. And he is constantly tweaking it based on what he’s doing with his own niche affiliate websites. In other words, Michael Brown makes sure that what he teaches is actually working right now!

Sign up for Michael Brown’s free Unleashing Your Success training here.

Affilorama’s Free Affiliate Marketing Training

Affiloarama is a website traininig program started by Mark Ling. Mark Ling has had many successful ClickBank products over the years. The training is legitimate, however, some of the advanced training could be risky for beginners if they don’t know what they’re doing. Specifically, there are link-building tactics recommended in Affilorama that can work very well, but you have to be extremely careful with how and where you use those tactics.

I would definitely recommend either Michael Brown’s Unleashing Your Success or Wealthy Affiliate’s training over the Affilorama training for newbies. If you have any further questions about that feel free to post your questions in the comment or feedback section below.

Wealthy Affiliate’s Free Training

Wealthy Affiliate is a program by Kyle and Carson that I used to recommend on a regular basis. I typically recommend Michael Brown’s training over Wealthy Affiliate these days, but that doesn’t mean that the Wealthy Affiliate membership site is a scam – far from it. The site still offers excellent, legitimate, Internet marketing training that is newbie-friendly and has helped many people get started with their online marketing career.

CashCrate Review and Overview

June 24, 2015 By Paul (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth) Leave a Comment

Is CashCrate a Scam or a Real Way to Make Money Online?

CashCrate is another rewards program with a mixed reputation. The rewards people for taking surveys, shopping, playing games, and taking sponsored offers.

Typically, the company offers a signup bonus of at least $1.00 just for joining. However, keep in mind that you will have to meet the payment threshold before you can cash out any of your money.

Get Paid to Take Offers

CashCrate claims that they will pay you to take free offers and to sign up for free websites and services. Keep in mind that some of these are trial offers that will require you to enter a credit card or debit card and if you don’t remember to cancel your trial membership you may end up losing much more money than you’ll make. That’s always something to keep in mind, whether you’ve signed up for Cash Crate or similar companies such as Inbox Dollars, Send Earnings, Project Payday. Fusion Cash, or Vindale Research.

Get Paid to Take Surveys

CashCrate also allows people to make money taking surveys. As with any legitimate survey, you will need to answer a few questions about yourself to make sure you qualify for any survey you are interested in taking. Most of the time you’ll find out whether or not you qualify within just a few questions. However, there are times when you may not qualify after spending quite a bit of time answering the pre-qualification questions. In order to minimize the chance of this happening, make sure you have your profile information filled out as completely as possible.

Get Paid for Referrals

You can also get paid to refer people to the CashCreate membership site. At one point they were offering 20% of all earnings that your referrals made through the site. However, if you are interested in their referral program – also known as an affiliate program – you will want to make sure to check the current terms.

Complaints

Most of the complaints about CashCrate center around the following:

  • Getting bombarded with offers. In other words, you should probably use a separate email address for programs like CashCrate, FusionCash, etc.
  • Trial offers. These complaints are usually from people who have forgotten to cancel their trial offers. Although there are legitimate complaints from people who have had to deal with companies that make it difficult to cancel the offers.
  • Wasted time trying to qualify for surveys and ultimately not qualifying.

Those complaints aren’t unique to CashCrate. Those are common complaints you’ll find with similar rewards programs. So, if you are thinking of adding any of these programs to your arsenal of extra income streams, you need to understand exactly what you’re getting into.

Bottom Line: Wait for reviews, feedback, and opinions to be posted below beforing joining CashCrate. If you already have experience with the program, please provide details about your experience.
