I have posted this because a recent scam called Home Profit Masters is using most of the elements that these Rebate Processor Sites used back in 2008/2009.
The Battle of Angela Penbrook is an “Instant Classic” (because I said so). It is a song dedicated to the struggles of rebate processors and American work at home consultants everywhere (well, primarily in the U.S. I suppose).
Angela Penbrook and Angel Stevens duke it out for the right to call themselves the number one work at home consultant in America.
While Angela focuses on swift and disarmingly effective use of Rebate Processor Tools, Angel Stevens focuses on strategic alliances and rebate processor recruitment (according to the June 19th version of the ProcessAtHome website).
Much to Angela and Angel’s dismay, John Jacobs of ProcessforPay fame – who’s name is frighteningly similar to that of a man from a childhood song of obscure origin – is about to stake his claim as the number 1 work at home consultant in America.
This is not to say people can’t change. I for one believe that an iconic figure of childhood gibberish has the potential to make his mark in the field of work at home consultancy. It is not for me to judge.
The Battle of Angela Penbrook – Lyrics
“There once was a woman named Angela Penbrook
Number one work at home consultant in America
So she said, so she said, so she said, so she said
So she said, so she said, so she said, so she saidThere once was a woman named Angel Stevens
Number one work at home consultant in America
So she said, so she said, so she said, so she said
So she said, so she said, so she said, so she saidJohn Jacobs Jingleheimer Schmidt came along
His name reminded them of a child-hood song
And he claimed to be the number one work at home consultant in America
This made Angela and Angel quite hysterical(8 Measures)
So they teamed up to drive out Jeingleheimer Schmidt
Cindy Dalton, Mary Nichols, Anna Partridge they all had a fit.
Christine Cooper,Brenda Meyyers, Rachel Williams would not stand for it.
But Stephanie Edwards had to call it quits.Who’s number 1? Who’s number 2?
What’s a poor rebate processor to do?
Who’s number 1? Who’s number 2?
What’s a poor rebate processor to do?”
Video of Historical Annotations of The Battle of Angela Penbrook
This is a video of Historical Annotations of The Battle of Angela Penbrook set to an Instrumental version of the song “The Battle of Angela Penbrook”.
The full text of the Annotations is in the next section after the video:
- Angela Penbrook – One of the best known Rebate Processor web-talkers. Also apparent founder of Penbrook Productions. Her most noteworthy accomplishments are extensive training in the art of rebate processing tools through her RebateProcessorTools.com website. She also used a newer technique of Rebate Processor recruitment by subtly implying that she was owned by website visitors by naming one of her sites MyRebateProcessor.com.Her physical appearance is a matter of great debate as historically we can see a photo which is much different than than the popular image of Angela Penbrook at the site MakeMyIncomeAtHome.com
- Angel Stevens – At one time Angel Stevens was Angela Penbrook’s staunchest competitor. She boldly proclaimed herself the number 1 work at home consultant in America at her ProcessAtHome.com website and demonstrated her marketing savvy by creating a second Rebate Processing website at ProcessAtHome2.com which many believe to be early rebate processing attempts at either split-testing or creating a non-pop version of a landing page for Google Adwords.Uncertain is who initiated the strategic alliance between Angel Stevens and Angela Penbrook. Many give credit to Angel for this quick stroke of strategic brilliance, but others claim Angela Penbrook was the true mastermind.
- John Jacobs – John Jacobs is generally considered the first male rebate processor job Representative and was initially expected to fail in a primarily woman-dominated career.Much to Angela and Angel’s dismay he proved to be a much more formidable opponent than they ever expected. In fact he was so bold as to merely use the word “Home” as the title tag of his ProcessforPay.com website’s home page which some attribute as an act of arrogance while others believe it to be a clever subliminal breakthrough only rivaled by the Tachistoscope. There is still some controversy over whether John Jacobs is a pseudonym designed to tap into the reptilian brain by eliciting memories of the classic children’s song John Jacobs Jingleheimer Schdmit.
- Cindy Dalton – The first historically documented appearance of Cindy Dalton can be found at the RebateProcessorJobs.com archives at Archive.org here. While some to be a pioneer in the area of Rebate Processing, others believe that the October 27, 2005 appearance of the site PaidRefunds.com (now defunct), while not explicitly claiming to offer Rebate Processor Jobs or training should be considered the first professional training site for rebate processors worldwide. An interesting point about the PaidRefunds site is that it often stated that rebate processors could make $240 per day, ignoring the established practice of claiming that “simple work” could earn workers “$225 per day”. Experts believe this was a strong contributing factor in the site’s demise.
- Mary Nichols – Mary Nichols clearly read Al Ries and Jack Trout’s bestselling books Marketing Warefare and Positioning: The Battle for Your Mind.By naming her site MaxInternetMarketing.com she challenged Angela Penbrook and Angel Stevens to either prove that there is a realm beyond “Maximum” (perhaps SuperMaximumInternetMarketing or SuperMaximumRebateProcessing?) or to take the classic second place positioning move that Avis took in their landmark “We’re Number 2. We Try Harder” campaign that took advantage of honesty and apparent weakness in the marketplace.Astute website visitors have noticed that the Mary
Nichols’ image on MaxInternetMarketing is surprisingly
similar to that of Angela Penbrook on the site MakeMyIncomeAtHome3.com - Anna Partridge – Anna Partridge wisely chose the domain name 3StepstoHomeProcessing.com . After all “2 Steps” would be completely unbelievable and 4 steps or more would make the whole program seem virtually impossible. Also, by using the word “Home” in her domain name website visitors immediately could see that this was a work at home opportunity and not inconsequentially the domain name would allow her to save critical advertising space in classified ads and when marketing via PPC.Note: A little understood aspect of Anna Partridge’s success is her use of a menacing grin on some of her website images.
- Christine Cooper – Christine Cooper was the website representative for PaidRefundJobs (not to be mistaken with PaidRefunds). One of the few remaining trails of evidence for the existence of PaidRefundJobs.com can be found at either AboutUs.org/PaidRefundJobs.
- Brenda Meyyers – One expects a lot from a woman who spells “Meyyers” with two “y”s and Brenda Meyyer’s does not disappoint. She claims a significant part of the alphabet as her own as she shrewdly mispells “easy” as “EZ” in her EZ Rebate Processing system at her InternetProfitHouse.com site.Sadly, InternetProfitHouse – with 243 spots remaining at virtually all times – remains less popular than Angel Stevens’ ProcessAtHome which typically has just “2 positions left in…” (left in what or where…the end of that sentence was blank when I visited…is this an example of IP-Based Dynamic content serving gone bad?).
- Rachel Williams – Rachel Williams is commonly thought of as representing ProcessAdsFromHome.com which is sometimes mispronounced “PressAdsAtHome”. What’s not commonly known about Rachel Williams is that she has sometimes been accused of presenting conflicting claims on her website such as “make $200 to $1000 per day” at times when the headline clearly states you can make $225 per day.A little word to the wise…if you’re at Rachel William’s site and think you only have 57 minutes and 24 seconds left to become a rebate processor at home, just try refreshing your browser and get your full 60 minutes back! Shhh! Don’t tell this trick to the other aspiring rebate processors as they may just grab your spot ahead of you!
- Stephanie Edwards – Stephanie Edwards of ProcessRebateCenter is somewhat of an unknown quantity at this point. We will post updates as her intentions concerning her Rebate Processing Career are made more clear.
Embarrassing Oversights and Up & Coming Rebate Processor Representatives
New and old battle worthy rebate processors
We are embarrased to admit that there are some battleworthy rebate processor job representatives we overlooked when putting together this page.
There are also quite a few up-and-coming rebate processors that deserve special mention.
We will use this list to correct our previous errors and make sure battleworthy rebate processor job representatives everywhere get the respect they deserve…so much for www.rebatework.com
- Sarah Johnson of RebateWork.com – This was admittedly a huge oversite on our part. Obviously the proprietor of a site called RebateWork shouldn’t be overlooked so readily. In our defense, because Sarah has made the classic faux pas of claiming people can earn an amount of $250 to $1,000 per day (not to mention the title-tag incongruity of stating earnings can be $500 daily) it may not really be that significant of an oversight. As you likely know by now, if a site does not include the number $225.00 in the daily amounts it’s pretty much doomed to failure.
- Wealth DCI completely overlooked – This really is an incredibly embarrassing mistake on our part. How we missed this one is beyond us – especially since WealthDCI is an important piece of virtual real estate for PenbrookProductions and of course Angela Penbrook herself.Completely failing to put in WealthDCI.com make it almost appear that we are careless to the point of being reckless. We assure you that is not so. Updated battle annotations will include www.WealthDCI.com
