  2. My site is real. I have been working at home for 13 years and have made over 1 million dollars. Check it out at http://www.WorkatHomeTycoon.com

    Comment by Lee Johnson — August 5, 2009 @ 5:49 pm

  3. I’m going to start this by saying that it’s POSSIBLE that Lee Johnson’s claim that he’s a millionaire is true, however the issue is NOT with that claim, it’s with a PARTICULAR story on one section of his site…

Just for clarification: HERE is the page that put WorkAtHomeTycoon on the list:

    http://workathometycoon.com/earncashwithgoogle/index.html

A copy of which has been timestamped and saved to my hard-drive in html and pdf format.

Let’s see some problems with Lee Johnson’s claims:

He states here that he’s been working at home for 13 years and has made over 1 million dollars – BUT the page Lee sends people to for his Google kit was created on March 2, 2009 as you can see from this whois record:

    Domain Name: PROFITCENTERLEARNING.COM
    Registrar: TUCOWS INC.
    Whois Server: whois.tucows.com
    Referral URL: http://domainhelp.opensrs.net
    Name Server: NS.PACIFICWEBWORKS.COM
    Name Server: NS2.PACIFICWEBWORKS.COM
    Status: clientTransferProhibited
    Status: clientUpdateProhibited
    Updated Date: 03-mar-2009
    Creation Date: 02-mar-2009
    Expiration Date: 02-mar-2010

Now, consider that Lee states in his story:

“I am Lee Johnson and this is my story on how I filled out one simple form, it took all of 5 minutes, and it changed my life forever. Now I make over $5,000 every month by posting different types of ads on Google.”

Now, it’s POSSIBLE that Lee Johnson’s claim to be a millionaire is true, BUT my GUESS would be if it IS true it has NOTHING to do with with the Easy Google Profits kit he’s selling on that page.

He has a company called FTS marketing which has web properties that have been around for years, such as

AZDiet.com which was created in 2001:

    From Verisign Whois:
    Domain Name: AZDIET.COM
    Registrar: ENOM, INC.
    Whois Server: whois.enom.com
    Referral URL: http://www.enom.com
    Name Server: NS1.PEER1.NET
    Name Server: NS2.PEER1.NET
    Status: clientTransferProhibited
    Updated Date: 04-may-2009
    Creation Date: 23-may-2001
    Expiration Date: 23-may-2010

Although the first registration date I could
find for Lee Johnson’s company FTS Marketing
was February 14, 2005 through a whois history lookup
via domain tools, which also shows him as the domain
    registrant for AZDIET.com

    From DomainTools whois:
    Domain name: azdiet.com

    Registrant Contact:
    FTS Marketing LLC
    Candyce and Lee Johnson ()

    AND THERE’S also Earn2EZ.com

which was registered to Harry and Candace Johnson on 2-23-2005.

Now consider the following claims on the WorkAtHomeTycoon site:

    Lee Johnson Claim 1:

“Now I didn’t mention that I had to pay about $90 for this kit (honestly I would have paid 10 times that amount). But being in this business I was able to find a special offer that is free! Well, not completely free, you have to pay $1 for shipping. I still consider it free because I know you’ll end up making a living off of this. So in my mind $1 for shipping is nothing at all.”

    Fact #1 about Claim #1:

The Google kit that Lee Johnson is pushing has an initial shipping charge of 1.97 and and an additional $79.90/month charge after the 7-day trial of the Fast Cash Using Google product.

    Fact #2 about Claim #1:

The TRUSTe seal on the order page for the Fast Cash Using Google product is NOT clickable, which is a REQUIREMENT of the TRUSTe seal program.
    Fact #3 about Claim #1:

The monthly charges for the Fast Cash Using Google product are disclosed BELOW the fold, well after the horizontal break caused by a GIANT ARROW and a submit button.

    Lee Johnson Claim #2:

“So let me ask you this, can you see this not being worth $1? You get all this for one buck. For one dollar you get financial freedom, you get the ability to be your own boss, you get to set your own hours, you get the chance to be debt free, and earn over $5,000 a month. Let me repeat that, you will be earning $5,000+ every month”

Fact about Lee Johnson Claim #2:
This is probably an illegal income claim. Lee isn’t even say MIGHT or COULD – he is saying you WILL be earning $5,000+ every month.
